Organizational Values

Corey continues with the topic of values, this time speaking about the importance of organizational values.
Last week, we talked about the importance of personal values. We spoke about how as an individual, it can be helpful to list your values. If you have not listened to this episode, please go and take a listen. This week will build on where we left off.
This week, we shift to the importance of organizational values and the interplay between personal values and organizational values.

What - The people involved in an organization should know and construct the organizational values.
Why - The people in an organization need to see themselves in the organization, they need to participate in the selection of what is important. This will lead to better outcomes as people will be happier, make better decisions, work harder, and stay longer.
